Grading practices should help students learn and move learning forward. In this session we will discuss grading moves teachers can make to help students grow. We'll explore the difference between formative and summative assessment and what should go into the gradebook. We'll also investigate how to move away from a point-based, event-based system to a system that gives students and teachers more feedback and guidance for learning and growth.
